Our Producers

Behind every part of our social enterprise are the young people who help bring it to life. At Orchard Therapeutic Farm, our young people are becoming producers, makers, growers, creators and contributors within a real working environment.

That might mean helping to grow ingredients, preparing products, supporting packaging and presentation, caring for animals, helping in the café, contributing to creative marketing ideas or taking responsibility for day-to-day tasks that keep things moving.

Each young person brings different strengths, interests and ways of engaging. For some, confidence grows through practical making. For others, it develops through routine, responsibility, creativity, customer interaction or teamwork. What matters most is that they are involved in something meaningful.

Being a producer is about more than simply making something physical. It is about being part of a process, understanding your role within it and seeing the result of your effort.

For many young people, that can be incredibly powerful.

It helps build confidence.
It helps develop responsibility.
And it helps young people begin to see themselves as capable, trusted and able to contribute.

At Orchard Therapeutic Farm, our producers are at the heart of what we do.
