The Orchard Model
The Orchard Model is our progressive, three-step approach to alternative education for children and young people aged 6–18. Underpinned by a trauma-informed and therapeutic ethos, with embedded mental health support, it is shaped by our values: Engage, Explore, Empower.
The model offers a clear route from initial support through to life beyond Orchard Therapeutic Farm. Step by step, we help learners overcome barriers, re-engage with education, and prepare for their future — whether that’s further study, training, or work.
