Choosing a different educational pathway can feel overwhelming. You may be navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, attendance challenges or a child who simply is not thriving in a mainstream setting. Our open day is designed to give you time, clarity and space to ask the questions that matter.

What to Expect on the Day

On Saturday 28th February, between 10am and 1pm, families can book a dedicated 30-minute appointment with a member of our team. These conversations give you the opportunity to talk through your child’s needs, explore whether Orchard may be a good fit and understand how our programmes work in practice.

You will also be able to take a tour of the farm and see our learning environments first-hand. This includes meeting our friendly team, spending time with the animals and getting a feel for the calm, purposeful atmosphere that makes Orchard different.

We do not have a creamery on site, but we do have a coffee shop where young people gain valuable work experience, along with an admin office that supports vocational learning and real-world skills development. Learning here happens through practical, meaningful experiences that build confidence and independence.

Who Is This For?

Our provision supports children and young people from primary age through to post-16. Many of our learners have additional needs, including ADHD, autism, anxiety or emotionally based school avoidance. Others simply need a smaller, more therapeutic environment to re-engage with education.

Orchard is rooted in three core values: Explore, Engage and Empower. We support young people to rediscover curiosity, build positive relationships and develop the confidence to move forward.
