  • Macmillan Coffee Morning & the launch of The Kitchen

We’d love you to join us on Friday 21 November for something special, a morning that blends purpose, creativity and community in the most delicious way.

As part of the national Macmillan Coffee Morning, we’ll be raising money for a brilliant cause while marking the official launch of The Kitchen at Hitchcox, our brand-new pop-up coffee shop run by students from Orchard Therapeutic Farm.

This isn’t just any coffee shop.

It’s a space for learning, confidence building and connection.

A place where our students can gain real hands-on experience, from preparing and serving food to welcoming guests and managing the flow of a busy morning. Every latte poured, every plate served and every friendly hello helps our young people grow their skills and self-belief.

Alongside the launch, we’ll also be celebrating creativity with a showcase of student artwork, guided by acclaimed local artist and teacher Nicholas Maitland. Expect colour, expression and plenty of pride as our young artists share their work with the community.

From laid back brunches and lazy lunches to cracking coffee and a tipi full of good vibes, The Kitchen at Hitchcox will open every Friday, 9.30am to 12pm, offering fresh, locally inspired food and a welcoming spot to relax.

So come along, enjoy a brew, browse the artwork, support an amazing charity and be part of something that’s all about serving up creativity, confidence and community.
