As we reach the end of another academic year, it feels important to pause and reflect on just how far our young people have come – and how far Orchard Therapeutic Farm has come alongside them.
Throughout the year, we have watched our young people grow in confidence, develop new skills, take on genuine responsibilities and begin to recognise what they are capable of achieving. Some have discovered interests that could shape their future, while others have taken important steps towards greater independence, further education, training or employment. Every journey has been different, and every step forward deserves to be celebrated.
It has also been a significant year of growth for Orchard Therapeutic Farm. Our Trades and Engineering provision has expanded, The Kitchen at Hitchcox has created a genuine working environment for our young people, and our Post-16 pathways have continued to develop. Together, these opportunities are helping us build an increasingly practical, purposeful curriculum shaped around the strengths, interests and future aspirations of each young person.
Across every part of Orchard Therapeutic Farm, the focus has remained the same: giving our young people the time, support and meaningful experiences they need to recognise their strengths and take their next steps.
As we look ahead to the next academic year, that growth will continue. We believe wholeheartedly in the future possibilities for our young people and for Orchard Therapeutic Farm, and we are excited to build on everything we have achieved together. New opportunities, pathways and experiences are already taking shape – so watch us grow.
