Every young person deserves the opportunity to discover who they are, recognise what they are capable of and feel excited about what their future could hold.
Future Me is our personalised, intensive coaching and personal development programme, designed to help young people build the confidence, skills, experiences and aspirations they need to thrive — both now and in the future.
Taking a similar approach to life coaching, Future Me provides purposeful, focused sessions where young people work closely with their Future Me Coach on the areas of life that matter to them. Sessions are practical, hands-on and highly individualised, combining meaningful conversation with real experiences, challenges, activities and achievable goals.
This isn't about sitting in a classroom talking about adulthood. It is about experiencing it, practising it and building the skills to navigate it.
We know that every young person’s journey is different. There is no single definition of success and no expectation that young people should already know where they are heading.
Instead, Future Me creates the space to explore, discover, experience and grow.
Working individually or through carefully designed group sessions, young people are supported to recognise their strengths, explore their interests, develop important life skills and begin creating their own picture of the future.
Future Me sessions are designed to be active and purposeful.
A session might involve planning and completing a journey using public transport, visiting a college or workplace, creating a budget and going shopping, preparing for an interview, opening conversations about future housing, cooking a meal independently, exploring a new career, developing a CV, practising communication in a real-world setting or working through a personal challenge with their coach.
For another young person, the work might be more personal — developing confidence, understanding relationships, exploring their identity, becoming a young parent, learning how to advocate for themselves or beginning to recognise their own strengths and potential.
The focus is always on doing something meaningful with the learning.
Coaches can set individual challenges and goals between sessions, revisit progress, celebrate achievements and help young people work through barriers when things don't go to plan.
This creates an ongoing coaching relationship where the young person is not simply being taught about their future — they are actively building it.

Future Me looks beyond qualifications and careers.
It considers the whole young person and the skills, confidence and experiences that will help them build a happy, meaningful and increasingly independent life.
Depending on their age, needs and aspirations, young people can explore:
Future Me is designed to grow alongside each young person.
For younger learners, this might begin with discovering strengths, developing confidence, trying new experiences, learning everyday skills and exploring the world around them.
As young people grow, Future Me can develop into more focused preparation for adulthood — including independence, relationships, money, further education, vocational pathways, employment, work experience and life beyond school.
For young people approaching adulthood, coaching can become increasingly intensive and individualised, helping them take practical action towards their aspirations and develop a realistic pathway towards their next chapter.
Every stage builds on the one before it. Every experience creates another opportunity to grow.
Future Me is not a programme that simply tells young people what they need to know.
Young people are encouraged to try things for themselves, supported by a coach who can challenge, encourage, problem-solve and help them reflect on what they have learned.
Sessions can move beyond the traditional learning environment and into the places where adult life actually happens — shops, workplaces, colleges, training providers, public transport, community spaces and everyday environments.
The intensity and focus of the coaching can be adapted to the individual. Some young people may need concentrated one-to-one work around a particular area of their life, while others may work towards a series of longer-term goals across multiple areas.
Progress is recognised not only through what a young person knows, but through what they can increasingly do for themselves.
Future Me isn't simply about asking a young person:
“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
It is about helping them discover:
Who am I?
What am I good at?
What matters to me?
What could I achieve?
What do I want my life to look like?
And what can I start doing today to help me get there?
Then, crucially, Future Me helps them take those first steps.
Because thriving tomorrow starts with what we build today.
Building confidence. Building skills. Building independence. Building aspirations.
Building Today and Thriving Tomorrow.
A young person does not need to have their whole future mapped out. They simply need somewhere safe to begin exploring it, and someone who believes that their ideas are worth listening to.
Future Me Coach helps young people move away from a life defined by problems, circumstances or expectations and towards one shaped by their own strengths, choices and possibilities.
Building Today and Thriving Tomorrow.
