Our young enterprise offer gives learners the chance to experience what it means to create, contribute and think beyond the classroom.

At Orchard Therapeutic Farm, enterprise is woven into everyday learning in a way that feels practical, purposeful and relevant to real life.

Through enterprise-based opportunities, young people can begin to explore ideas such as:

• how products are created
• how businesses and social enterprises work
• how to communicate with customers
• how to present and promote a product or service
• how teamwork, responsibility and reliability matter in the workplace

This gives learners the opportunity to develop a wide range of important life and employability skills, including:

• confidence
• communication
• creativity
• organisation
• initiative
• problem-solving
• teamwork

For some young people, this can also open up future pathways they may never have previously considered, whether that is hospitality, food production, retail, creative work, administration, farming, customer service or enterprise-led employment.
