Our social enterprise is rooted in making, growing and producing things with real value.

At Orchard Therapeutic Farm, learners have the opportunity to be involved in the creation of a growing range of products that are developed through practical, hands-on enterprise activity across the site.

These include farm-grown and farm-inspired produce such as:

• Apple cider vinegar
• Chutneys
• Sauces
• Honey from our own bees
• Seasonal produce and ingredients grown on site

These products are part of a wider learning journey.

Young people can be involved in different stages of the process, from growing and harvesting ingredients through to preparation, presentation, packaging, labelling and understanding how products are brought to market.

This helps learners build a wide range of practical and transferable skills, including:

• following processes and routines
• food hygiene and safe working practices
• teamwork and communication
• attention to detail
• presentation and quality control
• confidence in contributing to something real

As our enterprise develops, we are continuing to grow the ambition behind our product range too, with a longer-term vision to supply and sell through wider retail and commercial outlets.

For our young people, that means the chance to be part of something genuinely exciting — products that begin on the farm and have the potential to reach far beyond it.
